Research Interest: 
Dr. Scheid has published on the organization and delivery of mental health and HIV/AIDS services, with a focus on organizational effectiveness, system integration, and the affect of managed care on the work of health care providers. She is co-editor of "A Handbook for the Study of Mental Health: Social Contexts, Theories and Systems (Cambridge University Press, 1999, 2009) and editor of the 4 volume series "Mental Health: Major Themes in Health and Social Welfare (Routledge, 2009).
