Maureen’s current research focuses on state mandated adverse event reporting and impact on hospital quality of care; Evaluation of quality improvement curriculum in a pediatric residency. Dissertation Title: Adverse Events in healthcare and the ability to improve the quality and safety of patient care in the hospital. Teaching Interests:

Since graduating with her BSN and MS in Health Services Administration from D’Youville College in Buffalo, N.Y., Maureen has worked in various clinical and administrative positions in the health care industry, including quality improvement and risk management. Maureen is currently working on her dissertation and works at the Center for Advancing Pediatric Excellence, Department of Pediatrics, Levine Children’s Hospital at Carolinas Medical Center.
